Smoke-Free Dining, for your Comfort

Smoking has never been permitted inside the premises at Coat of Arms

When we first opened in 2013, it was rare to find a restaurant in Nagoya with separate smoking and smoking areas.

Although times have changed and non-smoking bars and restaurants is now mainstream in Japan, it is still not uncommon for people to smoke in many smaller establishments.

Since Coat of Arms is a bar and restaurant, we want people to enjoy their food and drink without 2nd-hand smoke wafting by, so we have strictly prohibited smoking inside the restaurant right from day one!

Smoking on the Terrace!

Smokers, fear not!

Smoking is permitted on our outdoor terrace.

What's more, you can also order and consume food and beverages on our open-air terrace.
