The Coat of Arms hosted a pre-opening VIP party for the various people and organizations who helped make our opening possible. We started off with some light goodies and some spectacular Champagne.
Mumms sponsored our VIP party toast. We were very fortunate and humbled to have the Mayor of Nagoya, Mr. Kawamura, deliver our opening toast, which was followed up with some lovely words from the Governor of Aichi, Mr. Ohmura.
Just when you thought the action was done and were looking for the credits, our very own Kiwi commando, Mr. O'Connell, literally kicked off the party with a kick! Which just happened to shatter the baseball bat, that was being held, in half - a symbol of our gratitude for all the support and our determination to break through barriers in a positive way.
The event lasted a few hours until finally Mr. Yamaguchi helped us close the party out with a synchronized clapping session known as Sanbonjime .
Thanks again to all our wonderful guests!
We look forward to seeing you in the near future and we promise to work on the timing of the last clap!
